This solar power installation was recently undertaken on a new estate to the south of Ashford and close to the M20. The houses are large, modern and well insulated. They also have private drives for over-night car parking.

This project involved adding solar panels to both the roof of the house and to the attached double garage.

In this way, the homeowner utilised both south and west facing roof surfaces. To maximise the capture of solar radiation from early morning until late evening each day.

In addition, an electrical charging point was added to the garage to facilitate the charging of the owner's electric vehicle.
